Parks & Braids
I hope your week is going well. Since the last blog post, I feel like more projects and things to do have added to my plate. So ironic, I was just talking about taking your time! I do take a few moments or two to relax and unwind but things have been hectic. I feel like the Lord has given me a vision of where I should go, but he also put a TON of obstacles in my way to get there. There is this quote I posted on my Instagram the other day that says, "God doesn't give us what we can handle; God helps us handle what we are given". With that in mind I am more focused on this blog and the happiness I feel talking to you all.
This blog post is extra special because my mother shot it. We had this hilarious incident of me trying to climb a tree to get a fun photo, but I ended up getting stuck...upside down. Instead of helping me get off the tree she continued to take photos. I could not help myself because I was laughing so hard. It was a fun memory.
I wanted to switch up my signature curls and waves with this fun braid. Its a dutch braid that is fairly simple to do, that is, once you get used to it. I think it is all about hand placement. I always compare doing hair to golf. It is hard and frustrating at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. Let me know if you would like to see a tutorial on it. I would be happy to show you!
